How conversion reconciliation works

Eondash lines up every conversion you tracked with the advertiser's own record of it, by click ID. Where the two disagree, you get a status that says why, and the result feeds your affiliate invoices.

Two glass ledgers side by side, joined by a check mark where their records match

The three steps

  1. Track

Clicks and conversions arrive from your own tracking domains, from S2S postbacks and from the trackers you already run. Each one is tied to a click ID.

  2. Reconcile

Eondash pulls advertiser data on a schedule and matches it to your conversions by click ID. Anything missing, underpaid, duplicated or in the wrong geo gets a status you can review and adjust.

  3. Invoice

Matched conversions and your adjustments feed monthly affiliate invoices, so they start from what advertisers actually approved.

What goes in

Your tracking
Clicks and conversions from the Eondash tracker on your own domains, or read from Keitaro, Affise, Scaleo or Alanbase. Advertisers post conversions back to Eondash by S2S, each tied to the click ID that started it.
The advertiser's record
Each advertiser's or network's own data about the same conversions: what they approved and rejected, and the commission they reported. We connect it during onboarding. If it lives on a platform we don't connect yet, we scope a custom integration.
Your rules
Payouts per offer and sub ID, the geos each campaign accepts, and which affiliates run which offers.

How a conversion gets matched

On every sync, Eondash takes each conversion in the advertiser's data and looks for a tracked conversion with the same click ID. When it finds one, it compares the event, the payout and the country. Every conversion ends up with one of these statuses:

Matched
The advertiser reported the conversion under the same click ID, at the payout you expected.
Missing commission
The advertiser reported the conversion with a lower commission than agreed, or none.
Not in advertiser data
You tracked a conversion the advertiser hasn't reported at all.
Not in tracker
The advertiser reported a conversion your tracker has no click for.
Duplicate
The same click ID came back more than once.
Lead not sale
You tracked a sale; the advertiser counted only a lead.
Wrong geo
The advertiser reported a different country from the one you tracked.

Match statuses are on the Media Buying and Affiliate Network plans.

A worked example

Six conversions from one advertiser in October. Two match. The keto gummies sale came back at €16 against €22 tracked, the survey lead was reported in a different country, the hair vitamins sale was rejected, and the sweepstakes lead hasn't been reported at all.

Example: six conversions from one advertiser

Those four rows are what you take to the advertiser, with click IDs and amounts already side by side, instead of two exports and a spreadsheet.

Review, adjust and re-run

A status is where the conversation starts, not the final word. You can mark a conversion paid, duplicate or on hold, add a financial adjustment with a note, and the change flows into every report and invoice. When an advertiser sends corrected numbers, re-run reconciliation for that period.

From matched conversions to affiliate invoices

At month-end, Eondash builds each affiliate's invoice from approved, matched conversions plus your adjustments. Invoices go from draft to review before you mark them paid, carry your company and bank details, and hold small balances over until they reach the payout threshold.

Questions

Do I need the Eondash tracker?

No. You can keep Keitaro, Affise, Scaleo or Alanbase and read their clicks and conversions into Eondash, or use the Eondash tracker on your own domains.

What happens to a conversion reported without a click ID?

It is flagged on its own so you can follow it up with the advertiser. It can't be matched to a click until the click ID is known.

Can I change a status by hand?

Yes. Overrides and adjustments are recorded with who made them and why, and they carry through to reports and invoices.
